Unless you are promoting something, using a fake Facebook name is not a good idea if you want to communicate with your old friends. I had time today and tried to search most of my High School and College classmates and I found only few. It is difficult to find someone who uses fake name.
Facebook (after Friendster) is one of the best things ever happen over the Internet today. People are creating Facebook accounts to get in touch with their friends and relatives. It is always a good feeling to have someone new added to your account every time you log-in – someone you already know (a friend or relative). Whenever I have spare time, I always spend searching some of my old friends hoping that they have Facebook accounts.
Sometimes, it’s just frustrating when you can’t find what you are looking for because they are using fake names, nicknames, or married names.
For married women, I suggest you use your whole name including your maiden name. Some uses their child’s name too. It is okay if you create an account for your child but you must do it separately.
My High School life was 15 years over and my College was 10 years. 90% of my classmates have their own families and I found it difficult to find them. I guess you are having the same problem too.
- Use your full name
- Do not use your child’s name for your own acocunt
- Use your whole name including maiden name (if married woman)
Just a simple reminder to people who want to contact their long lost friends and families….
Oh Good Lord, I can’t believe this. You can’t tell even to your closest friend that you are looking for a wet and smelly used panties but, you can do it online. This is actually what thousands of people are doing online for some reason we don’t really know. I can’t really imagine why people are looking for used panties. My friend Angel Cuala of Fatherblogger.com visited me last night and we had a bottle of vodka. He checked his email through my PC an got an invitation to Batangas Bloggers first Eye Ball. He confirmed his participation by answering the invitation post at wowbatangas.com. Curios, I asked him if I can join since I’m a blogger too, and from Batangas – and he said “why not”, so I submitted my participation too. Early this morning I received a text message from JR Cantos of Wowbatangas confirming my message.
I thought I was late and I did so for around 30 minutes. The program started at around 2PM with 10 members (I think). I’ve been doing blogs since 2003 but I’m always lazy to attend meetings like this because I always think the people behind the program wanted to promote something (which is typical) – but it was different today. The program is simple and there was no special event except for raffle where all participants won humble prizes from sponsors. I got 200 free long distance call from PLDT, Angle got a gift package from Watsons Drug Store, others received various items. It was a short meeting without specific agenda regarding Blogging or Internet Marketing but somehow I got to know fellow Bloggers from Batangas, which I think would be beneficial to every one of us in the near future.

The odd thing was, when I get home after the meeting, my desktop monitor won’t turn on. I know I am about to buy a new PC this year but I didn’t expect the monitor to give-up early. I had no choice but to go back to Robonsons and purchased a second hand LCD for 3,500. Now I have a better look…..
It’s been more than 24 hours that the site is down. It is very strange for a big website like BHW to be offline this long. I know there are a lot of people who hate BHW but for me, I think it’s still useful.
Though I don’t agree on piracy and sharing copyrighted materials, the forum is still useful with regards to SEO and promotion strategies.
I hope Blackhatworld will be online again as soon as possible. I know, hundreds to thousands of members are now waiting for the site to come online again. Whatever the reason, only admin knows. I don’t think it was a Ddos attack. The site is still accessible. I think it’s more on database problem.I think there is an error on Vbulletin script.
Let’s wait and see.
And to those people who wanted to turn down the site, this is what I can suggest.
“If your product is shared in BHW, instead of looking for ways to turn the site down, how about contacting the admin or one of the download mods and ask them politely to remove your product from the download folder?”.
I think this is more effective. I said I am not in favor with piracy but you cannot correct a mistake by countering it with another mistake.

After almost 3 years that I left the company where I spent 7 of my 10 working years, a lot of things refreshes into my mind.. sad, happy, memorable things…
Pareng Jerick and I went to MMBC yesterday to get some of his important papers. We arrived there at around 10:00AM and we stayed for about 4 hours. We had a chance to meet our former colleagues and superiors (Sir Jun, Ate Lea, Willy, and some of our subordinates). We had some mixed emotions. Happy that we see each other again, and sad that we are not working together anymore… But of course we always let time change everything for good…
A lot of things have changed (not to mention the management). There are only 3 Japanese residents (unlike before we had a lot) and the main office (both left and right wing) is empty. We didn’t have a chance to take a tour inside production area (of course it’s not allowed), but we are thankful that most of out former subordinates meet us at canteen and at the lobby.
Others says we are lucky because we are out and at least we have a better (if not the best) life, but I can also say that they are better because they are still working together, in a company that shared a lot in our lives, particularly our work experience. Forget about the salary and compensation, this company is still the best to work with…
You can still feel the friendly faces and atmosphere.
We are planning to get back there this Thursday to play basketball before Pareng Jerick return to Australia this 15th. I hope that plan will get materialized… We are looking forward for the simple but memorable event and I hope Sir Jun and George will take care of the schedule….
Next possible visit will be on December when Pareng Jerick take a vacation again (unless Pareng Jeff have time)…. and if Sir Jun and Willy are still inside….
